CONSTRUCTION OF A 30” & 26” SUBSEA BY-PASS PIPELINE AROUND THE ESCRAVOS -IMPORT BERTH PLATFORM.

Scope of work

Carry out detailed under water survey to determine the most workable route for the by-pass.

Mobilisation and hire of a Multiservice work vessel suitable for

depths of 20-30 meters of water and associated support Equipment.

Procurement of 30” & 26” PE coated API X42, 13mm wall thickness Linepipes.

Procurement of 30” & 26” SMART FLANGE with connectors, 30” x 26” Reducer and all appurtenances.

Fabrication of a loop to link the two pipes segments.

Cutting of the 30” & 26” pipeline segments at the sea bed and connecting the subsea pipelines using the SMART FLANGES and connectors at the sea bed.

Provision and installation of concrete saddles designed to provide negative buoyance for the newly installed 30” pipeline segment.

Hydro testing the line from SBM to Escravos Terminal and commissioning of the installed segment.

Participate in a Joint Investigation Visit (JIV) by excavation of damaged pipeline section and lifting section so that it can be inspected by JIV prior to commencing the intended repair works.

Development of approved welding procedure.

Procurement of required Clamp/pipes, flanges and bolts for replacement of damaged section.

Repairs Works (Sectional Replacements, Parching, Clamping, Flanging).
